About us

I’m Anneka Russell, I have worked in the EYFS for the last 15 years in a variety of roles, including as a Primary Teacher, Early Year’s inspector and I currently work as a Local authority Early Years Adviser.

As the Founder of ‘Enjoy EY’, I work with EYFS Leaders, Managers and Practitioners across London and South East to ensure their provision offers the best learning opportunities possible to all children. Nothing satisfies me more than witnessing the intense engagement that children experience from thoughtfully planned provision. With the constant changes in the educational landscape, I have decided to get out there and work alongside early years professionals who need a fresh pair of eyes to evaluate and enhance their EYFS provision. Providing the highest quality play experiences for children is one of the biggest investments any educator can make into a young child’s life, and it doesn’t need to cost the earth! Excellence and enjoyment in early year’s education only happens when EYFS Practitioners are highly accomplished in their ability to consistently deliver good practice.
